A ferry is withdrawn, a client says yes on her phone, and a receipt waits to be verified. The assistant drafts; you confirm, and you decide when the trip is Ready.

The quotes come in.
You forward the supplier quotes and Sarah’s wish list to the trip. The assistant turns them into a proposal page with both options, keeps the source for every line, and leaves a blank wherever a detail is missing.
You tidy the wording and send Sarah and John one link. On October 2 they choose Ravello.

Sarah asks for the sea view.
The hotel can do it for €420. In most CRMs you would open the booking, change the room type and move on. The record would say sea view, with nothing to show the hotel never agreed.
Here the upgrade opens as a tracked change. The quote, Sarah’s approval and the hotel’s confirmation are separate steps, and the trip stays open until each one is done. The assistant can log the quote and draft your note to Sarah; confirming with the hotel is still your call.
We can offer your guests the Deluxe Sea View for an additional €420 across the four nights. Please let us know by 16 October so we can hold the room.

Sarah sends a screenshot of the bank transfer. It goes on the trip as a receipt, not as money received, until you have checked it. Client payments and supplier balances sit in one ledger, and TripTended never moves a cent of it.

A receipt is evidence, not money. It stays unverified until you check it against your bank or the supplier.

It is built from the confirmed trip, carries your agency’s name, and shows them where they are going. Sarah and John open the same link they used to choose Ravello. It changes only when you publish, so nobody reads last week’s plan.

Is TripTended a CRM?
Not a traditional one. It keeps clients, trips, suppliers and tasks like a travel agent CRM would, but its focus is what happens after the client says yes: changes, supplier confirmations, payments and the pre-departure check.
Does it replace my host agency’s system?
No. Keep booking with your suppliers, host agency and payment tools. Forward, upload or paste the confirmations they send you, and TripTended keeps track of what’s confirmed, paid and still open.
What happens when a client asks for a change?
It becomes a tracked change on the trip. The supplier quote, the client’s approval and the supplier’s confirmation are recorded separately, and the trip can’t be marked Ready until the change is closed.
Does it book trips or take payments?
No. It never books, cancels or moves money. It records what suppliers confirm and what clients paid, and you verify each one.
What can the trip assistant do?
It drafts the client itinerary from files you’ve reviewed, creates follow-up tasks and client notes, and records payment receipts for you to verify. It can’t confirm a booking, verify a payment, publish a page or mark a trip Ready.
How does pricing work?
At launch, plans will differ only by how many new trips you start each month and how many assistant credits are included. Every plan has every feature and starts with a 7-day free trial.
